The primary goal of PiQASO is to bridge the gap between advanced theoretical developments in quantum-resistant cryptography and their real-world applications.

This includes developing integration-ready, efficient, and secure post-quantum cryptography (PQC) solutions that can be deployed across diverse industrial sectors—enabling organizations to proactively prepare for the quantum computing era.

The strategy emphasizes cross-sector collaboration, co-design with stakeholders, and continuous integration with evolving cybersecurity standards.

PiQASO focuses on scalability, interoperability, and efficiency, ensuring that developed technologies can be seamlessly embedded into existing infrastructures.

Role of PARTICLE

PARTICLE contributes to the PiQASO Project by providing the testbed to support the Use Case involving Patient Transport Services. In ambulance transportation, the vehicle is equipped with a large number of connected medical devices that continuously monitor the patient’s vital signs, collecting data that is valuable for providing adequate medical assistance.

The Use Case allows experimenting novel quantum-resistant cryptography techniques brought by PiQASO in a real world application involving high mobility and transfer of sensitive data.
